Family elder İbrahim Ağa and his son İsmail Ağa (took the surname of BAŞARAN after passage of the Surname Act) were known as “Ayvacılar, Ayvacıoğlu” in Gebze. In the early years of the Republic they were engaged in agriculture, animal husbandry, and milk and dairy products manufacturing. In 1965 Orhan Başaran, the eldest son of İsmail Basaran, and İbrahim Basaran, the younger son have established Basaran Limited Liability Company...
